PARENT/TEACHER COLLABORATION MEETINGS
In an effort to keep parents informed about your child's education, we are hosting informational meetings on Thursday, August 31 for Grades K-4. This is an opportunity for parents to visit with their child's teacher about the curriculum and classroom procedures. It is not an opportunity to have a conference with the teacher but you will find out details about assignments and expectations for the remainder of the year. Listed below is the schedule for the grade level meetings. Two sessions are being offered so you can attend more than one grade level if needed.
Session One: 3:45 – 4:45PM
Session Two: 5:00 – 6:00PM
Please return scheduling forms by August 29. Misplaced your form? Click here
SOLAR ECLIPSE INFORMATION
On August 21, we are excited to start our 2017-18 school year off on the same day as the solar eclipse. In preparation, we have ISO approved solar viewing glasses for all of our staff and students thanks to a generous donation made by the Eric and Diane Maxson family to the Logan Elm Education Foundation. The eclipse will begin around 1:00 pm and last
until approximately 4:00 pm, with the peak time being 2:15–2:45pm.
All students will be educated during the day about this natural phenomena, including the appropriate safety measures.
